French Walnut Round Earrings

One inch diameter round earrings made from French Walnut veneer. The earwires are handmade from 21 gauge sterling silver wire. 

The earrings are made with raw (real) wood veneer approximately 1/42 of an inch thick. Several layers of veneer are steam bent then glued to form an elegant curved shape that is sturdy. They are sanded smooth then finished with an oil-based satin varnish.

Although they have a protective finish, they are not waterproof, so do not submerge in water.
