Mahogany Round Earrings

One inch diameter round bentwood earrings made from Mahogany veneer. Sterling silver earwires. 

The earrings are made with raw (real) wood veneer approximately 1/42 of an inch thick. Several layers of veneer are steam bent then glued to form an elegant curved shape that is sturdy. They are sanded smooth then finished with an oil-based satin varnish.

Although they have a protective finish, they are not waterproof, so do not submerge in water.
